How to protect your laptop from high temperature

Temperatures can have a significant impact on battery life, and of course, the weather gets hot in the summer and can damage the battery if you don't take the necessary measures to protect it, so you have to watch out for overheating.

Familiarize yourself with the safe temperature range first

Most laptops are designed to be in temperatures from 10°C to 35°C. It is well known that laptop batteries are not friendly to heat, and even higher than this limit exposes the battery to damage.

Give your laptop a chance to adjust

Avoid using intensive processes

Overheating of the laptop may be the result of intense operations. You can keep your laptop cool by avoiding such processes on your device.

For example, browsers with a flash video put the CPU to hard work. The CPU will start to heat up and fan speeds will increase. Therefore, it is recommended to use Flash-block in your browser so that Flash videos are played only when needed.

Beware of high humidity

Humidity levels rise in the summer, and with it the risk to your laptop battery. If the humidity is above 80%, you need to be careful. Wet weather can affect condensation and reduce the quality of electrical circuits.

Turn off your laptop when you are not working

Turn off the laptop when not in use, when it is very hot the best thing to do is to turn off the laptop so it does not get damaged and only turn it on after it cools down or go to a cool place for about 15 minutes to work properly natural.
