Go to the File menu in your document or spreadsheet, click Modification History, then View Modification History, or directly press the keys (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H). You can see the modification history, and when you click on the three dots next to each copy, you will be able to choose between restoring the copy and naming it or creating it.
